Spreading the holiday cheer by giving back

This holiday season, Fairfield Residential’s nationwide apartment communities are doing all they can to help those who are less fortunate. From Toy Drives to pet supply donations, our properties put forth a huge effort to ensure a happy holiday season for all. Some of the highlights include:

The Preserve at Mobbly Bay in Tampa, Florida has true Holiday Spirit! They collected over 2,100 items for Toys for Tots and were able to present them to 3 U.S. Marines at their resident holiday party.

Every year, Presidio Apartments in Denver, Colorado partners with Denver Rescue Mission’s Adopt a Family for the holidays. This year, they had over 70 gifts donated from residents for their family. They even received this precious thank you note in response to the donated items. This truly makes it all worth it!

Latitudes Apartments in Virginia Beach, Virginia also held a toy drive for Toys for Tots, along with free pictures with Santa for their residents, children and pets. A festive atmosphere put everyone in the giving spirit!

Woodway Square Apartments in Houston, Texas held a donation drive for Rescue Bank, a non-profit organization committed to supporting the animal rescue and rehabilitation community with much-needed supplies and services. They received this wonderful note from the Executive Director thanking them for the supplies they donated – they will go to great use!

“Huge thank you for all the cat food, toys, beds collars and leashes. All will be so welcome to our groups. We have a food distribution (dog food) on Dec 20 and I know the cat food will be greatly appreciated. Love the huge red collars. So many people have small dogs now, our Mastiff rescue will love these. And, the pet bed is so sweet. One of our favorite rescues (she only takes the hardship animals) is nursing a snoopy type dog that was thrown from a window and has some paralysis. This is will perfect for him (Mr. Bean).

1105 Town Brookhaven in Atlanta, Georgia also held a toy drive for Toys for Tots, and raised an abundance of donations to give to needy children. They will most certainly be having a happy holiday!
